Reflection is what makes us grow, or rather the actions or behaviour changes that comes after a reflection is what makes us grow. Incorporate regular reflection sessions to your routines, whether it is for project evaluations, team growth, company visions, or even as a couple. Here are some guiding questions to get you started.
Questions to support reflection
What behaviors helped or hindered the group to____?
Did I hold back from doing things/Why?
How can I act to get more out of the team?
How can I apply what I learned in other situations?
What happened during the experience?
What has been my highest high and lowest low in this project? Why?
How did I feel and what were my reactions?
What insights and conclusions can I draw from the experience?
What behavior changes and actions can I implement based on what I’ve learned?
Have I learned something about myself?
What am I going to do differently next time?
